Amy joined the Council of Institutional Investors in May 2006 as deputy director. She helps the executive director manage Council strategy, policy development and operations. She oversees Council communications, publications and fundraising, and is the administrative liaison to the Audit Committee of the board. Amy also represents the Council on panels, committees and other forums.
Before joining the Council, Amy was a reporter for BusinessWeek for 25 years. She wrote about business, finance and politics from the magazineís bureaus in the U.S., London and Tokyo..
Amy serves as a director of the National Institute on Retirement Security (NIRS), the CII Research and Education Fund and the Sinai Assisted Housing Foundation.
She earned a B.S. in English and history from the University of Pennsylvania and a masterís degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics.
